3. Do Well By Staying Organized

For many of you, joining a club will be yet another first-time experience. You may even become an officer or maybe even a club leader! In any event, it is wise to make sure you learn what organizational tools work for you.

3. Do Well By Staying Organized

When I say tools, I simply mean the particular things that help you stay organized and up-to-date on your assignments and responsibilities. This may be using your smart phone to take photos of an event, using your tablet to create a design for a flyer, or, like me, using a small notebook to write down your "to-do" list.

Within these tools, you will want to organize your assignments and responsibilities however you feel comfortable. This can be highlighting certain events or projects, using a certain color of sticky note for reminders, or simply having a “to-do list.” Every day in my notebook I jot down a new “to-do list” and focus my attention on knocking those out throughout the day. It reassures me that I am staying on task and that I am taking care of my duties without letting anything slip through the cracks.
